Outstanding in the Field—Cream of the Crop

We are still looking for a new place to live. Right now we are still in the other branches church but they need to use the rooms.

I did get sick this week but I was lucky and it only lasted about a day. It’s crazy to think it has been more than 3 months. I feel like time is different when you don’t have all the different seasons.

I will put all my pictures on one of my flash drives and send it in a letter.

A random story for this week: we were walking down the street to go teach an investigator and I looked to the left and there was an ice cream maker. I was confused a little because it was in a field and looked new and it was in Liberia. I talked with my companion about how that was weird and we kept walking. On our way back we found out the ice cream maker was WORKING! For a cup of amazing butternut ice cream it was 20 ld which is about quarter. We got a couple cups each and it was extremely good. That was fun.

You know how I like to collect coins from around the world. I have been finding a coin or two on the ground nearly every day. This is cool because most of the elders have never even seen a Liberian coin since Liberia stopped using them a long time ago.

This week went by very fast for me. It has been a good week for me and our investigators. I have seen the difference a member can make in someone’s conversion. Almost all of the investigators that have been attending church and progressing the most are the investigators that are friends or family with members. We had 7 investigators attend church yesterday. We had one sister, who we have not even taught yet, come to us after and say how she loved the teachings of our church and that she wants to make this her church. We also had one of our investigators say that he loves how our church will answer any question he has. He also said he will make it his responsibility to come to church every week. So over all it has been a really good week. I have been able to see the Lord’s hand in my life and in the lives of all our investigators.
